Josie is an approximately 13 year old sorrel pinto mare. She was an Amish cart pony (approx. 40") we purchased from the kill pen in January 2021 with severely overgrown hooves , with all 4 shoes left on, which severely bruised her feet. Josie has trust issues and takes time to warm up. She is easy to handle but not always easy to catch. She does suffer periodically from winter laminitis. She is currently on 1/4 tablet equioxx and SmartPak smart lamina 1x daily. Adoption fee $500
Scarlett is a bit shy and nervous but does warm up with time and a patient handler. She arrived with over grown and foundered hooves. Her teeth were a complete mess from lack of any prior dental work. They are much better now but she will always require a mash, NO HAY diet.
Smokey was owner surrendered by his family. When after spending months rehabbing him after purchasing him in horrible condition at auction it was determined he had suffered head trauma resulting in a fractured tooth and jaw issues that required surgery that was out of their budget. He has since recovered completely from surgery in October 2021. He is a sweet boy but has had some issues with food aggression due to starvation which we are currently working on.
